GREEN Beauty

I know it has been FOREVER since I last wrote. Sorry. A lot has happened. Well, the biggest and most important change is I became a Vegan. I am so excited about this amazing choice in my life. It was a slow start, 3 months later I am doing great. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to make an overall positive change in their life, both physically and emotionally. Since I now pay so much attention to what I put IN my body, I also started to think about what I put ON my body. I noticed that many companies don't even put ingredients on the products they sell!!! Who knows what you are putting on your skin. Go on shopcrueltyfree.peta2.com to find out the companies that do not test on animals. There are so many great organic cosmetic lines out there. Urban Decay has beautiful eye shadows with fabulous pigment and many of the shades are vegan.

You can find Urban Decay at Sephora $16

I will research other fantastic organic and cruelty free products for you.

Now, I am a beauty junkie so I will be sharing other products with you as well.
Much love,
Jamie.

More fun Pictures to come.

Laura Mercier

I had the amazing experience of working along side Laura Mercier herself this past weekend. She is one of the best artists in the world. She has worked with Sarah Jessica Parker, Julia Roberts, Angelina Jolie, Ellen Barkin, Madonna, and many other celebrities. Image and video hosting by TinyPic
I learned so much. Her products are fantastic! If anyone is looking for a new foundation, go to your Laura Mercier counter. There is something for everyone...
Her Mineral Powder is the best there is! it has pure pearl powder in it so it gives you a healthy natural look. gorgeous!
Laura's Oil Free Foundation is flawless! this one is my personal favorite. I wear this daily for a natural matte look with excellent coverage. I apply it with a kabuki brush for an airbrush look.
and finally a make up artist's fav
Laura's Tinted Moisturizer
Evens out the skin with a sheer coverage. Has an SPF of 20. It gives a beautiful glow to the skin. Comes in Oil-free formula or the orginal formaula ( My choice).

Question: I have a great collection of MAC gel eyeliners, but my brush is toast. It's all frayed so the eyeliner goes on too thick. I've been looking for a good brush for a couple of months now, one that will give a thin line and isn't too wide (the one I have now is probably about 1/8 inch wide). I've found nothing so far. Any suggestions?

Ang,

So, I have seen the frayed brush tons of times. My suggestion would be to get a newer stiffer brush that is meant to stay strong with a creamy texture day in and day out. Bare Escentuals makes a great brush that is actually meant for brows. Image and video hosting by TinyPic Its much stronger than your MAC brush. Cost: $ 12 at any Sephora. Also to extend the life of any brush you own, get the MAC Brush Cleanser. Image and video hosting by TinyPic Use this in between brush uses. It will help rinse off all that build up of gel liner on your brush. Cost: $10 at any MAC location. Hopefully this helps you out. Let me know if you have any other questions! Hope all is well.
